In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the benefits of this craft, the materials you’ll need, and a few helpful tips to make your froggy friend come to life.

Benefits of the Recycled Frog Craft
There are several benefits to making this recycled frog craft with your children.
First and foremost, putting together this cute creation promotes environmental awareness by repurposing everyday household items.
This project also helps develop fine motor skills, enhances creativity, and provides a fun, hands-on learning experience that kids will love.
Plus, it’s a great opportunity for bonding and spending quality time together as a family.
This project also works well in the classroom, for a frog life cycle theme this Spring. The life cycle of a frog is always a popular science topic for preschool children.
Materials You’ll Need
To create your simple easy recycled frog craft, you’ll need the following materials:

- Green, black, and white paint
- Popsicle stick
- Scissors
- Paintbrush
- Glue stick
- Christmas ball
- Bottle lid
The best paint to use for this craft will be acrylic paint, as it gives a much better coverage compared to washable kids paint, just be careful as it’s not so easy to wash out of clothes and little ones will need more supervision.
But, the payoff is you won’t need to do so many coats of paint to get a good coverage for your frog.
Gluewise… a hot glue gun will work best, but if you don’t want to use that with young toddlers, try going with glue dots.
