Capture the Flag is a fun new space themed movie for kids, and is released today on digital HD download (and will be out in one week on DVD and blu-ray) My boys all enjoyed watching this movie, so to celebrate the digital release we have some fun colouring sheets and activity pages to share with you today.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is the official videogame of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. We took a look at the handheld Nintendo 3DS version, which was released in Europe in April 2016. For those who prefer gaming on the TV, the title will also be released on the Nintendo Wii U in June 2016.
Please note the 3D effects have been turned off in the photos and videos in this post.
The title offers 14 different Olympic sports, each in two modes. The Plus mode offers the same Olympic game with added challenges inspired by Mario & Sonic games. The game offers a single-player campaign, ‘Road to Rio’, where you train up and compete as your Mii character. Alternatively the Quick Play mode allows you to dip in & out and play a single game quickly.
These days I’m loving my Fitbit, and couldn’t be without it! I bought a basic Fitbit Charge a couple of months back and really got into the habit of keeping track of my steps each day, to make sure that I’m active enough. Now, Currys PC World have sent me the new Fitbit Blaze which is a smart watch and has a lot more features, and I love my new Fitbit even more!
Prepare to be inspired by a young boy’s heart-warming bravery and imagination in the enchanting animated adventure A WARRIOR’S TAIL, in cinemas from April 1st, 2016, courtesy of Signature Entertainment.
If you’re looking for something to keep the kids entertained during the Easter holidays, a trip to the cinema is always a hit and this new movie could be a great option! I’ve noticed that A Warrior’s Tail is available in some Mini Mornings screenings in Vue at the moment so it will be a great value cinema choice too.
My kids always look forward to World Book Day, and love picking out fun costumes to wear to school. These days, there are so many suitable costumes available in the shops – even in supermarkets, so it’s quite easy to find something that they would like to wear, and we normally tend to go down the shop bought route for this, especially since they are very keen on costumes and dress up play anyway, so a costume bought for World Book Day will get used plenty of other times throughout the year.
This year, Asda sent over a selection of their World Book Day costumes for us to try out. There are plenty of others available in store too, for boys, girls and grown ups so it’s worth having a look if you do find yourself in need of a last minute costume this week!
My kids are big fans of LEGO, so of course we were quite excited to see that there is a new LEGO range out, complete with a new TV series. Knights are one of the best classic LEGO themes (I had a knights and castle set when I was a child which was my favourite!), so to see the new series NEXO KNIGHTS bringing back the knights theme with a more modern twist is something I was really happy to see, and it appealed to my children straight away.
To go along with the new LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™ show, there is also a brand new magazine and it’s a hit with us!
I had been wanting to start the boys in swimming lessons for a while, but wasn’t sure where was the best place to go. We decided to give one of our local Everyone Active leisure centres a try and have been happy with the lessons there.
Here’s our review of the swimming lessons, and if you’re interested in crash courses then check the end of the post for further details and a time table for February 2016 at Northolt Leisure Centre.
