Materials

  • Glitter paper - red and pink or choose your favourite colors
  • Yellow and Green Colored construction paper
  • Paper plate
  • Acrylic paint (yellow, blue and white)
  • Scissors
  • Paint brush
  • Glue stick or white glue
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Gather your craft materials and print out the starfish template onto regular white paper
  2. Cut the provided starfish ocean template into the individual pieces , great for developing scissor skills in a fun way.
  3. Paste the starfish ocean parts on the desired colored and glitter papers. Follow the guide photo for correct paper attachment of the parts.
  4. After pasting, trace and cut the parts.
  5. Then attach the red and pink glitter stars on a popsicle stick.
  6. Next is to paint the half part of the paper plate with a wave-like pattern using a blue acrylic paint. This will be the blue ocean part.
  7. Then paint the other half part of the paper plate using a pastel yellow and white acrylic paint. On the other hand, this will be the ocean sand part.
  8. Use a glue to assemble the green plants by pasting it on the blue ocean part.
  9. Then attach the yellow and green starfish on yellow-white part (ocean sand).
  10. Cut a small opening then insert the popsicle stick with a glitter star. You may choose what color of star you would like to display.
  11. And there you have your amazing ocean full of starfish craft!
