Perler Bead Popsicles Craft
Print out the template and use the step by step instructions below if you are not already familiar with how to make things with perler beads (aka Hama beads or fused beads)
We will take you through how to use the perler bead templates, and how to iron perler beads.
How to make perler bead popsicles
How to make perler bead popsicle crafts with the kids
Materials
- Perler Beads / Hama Beads / Fuse Beads of multiple colors
- Printable template
Tools
- Clear Peg board
- Iron
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Print out the fused bead template
- Place under the clear peg board
- Fill in the design with the colored beads as shown on the template
- Once complete, cover the design with parchment paper and carefully iron
- Iron on a medium heat, with a dry iron (no water), running the iron in circular motions over your design for around 30 seconds. Make sure the peg board is on a flat surface.
- Check to make sure the design is fused across all the beads
- Leave to cool just enough to remove from the peg board.
- Now, turn it over and place a sheet of parchment paper over the other side and repeat the ironing process
- Place a heavy book on top of the parchment paper and leave to cool completely
