Have your child place their hand down onto the page where the cape will be, and draw or trace around their hand with a crayon.
Color in the crayon handprint and the superhero picture to complete the craft.
For handprint crafts you want to make sure you use child friendly paint that is washable.
We like to go with ready mixed paint from a good quality brand like Crayola. This is non toxic and should wash off clothes and surfaces, of course still take care to minimise the mess where possible and don’t paint in your best expensive clothes.

To use the paint, you will want a plastic painting tray or just use a paper plate.
It can be fun to add some extra details like Superhero stickers too!
