Maps are an incredible way to explore the world. When you look at a map, it’s like you’re travelling for miles and miles without ever leaving your living room or bedroom.
There is something so magical about exploring lands via detailed maps, and when combined with the magic of Disney & Pixar, this is an amazing combination.
We were sent the Disney Book of Maps from Lost Universe, the UK-based retailer that’s all about supplying super-fans with the coolest pop culture merch around. They have a wide range of products from brands including Disney, Star-Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon and more.
The Disney Book of Maps is a hardback book including 108 pages with maps from 25 enchanted Disney worlds like Peter Pan, Dumbo, The Lion King, Moana and lots more.
Maps are not only informative but they are also immersive. They help us feel like we are really in that space.
Each double page spread of the book is a beautifully illustrated map which shows locations that you will recognise from the movie, and has lots of little details to spot and discuss.
Before each map, there is a page introducing the land, the characters and the story of each one, just in case you need a refresher.
This book is appealing to all ages of Disney fan. My 4 and 10 year old kids had lots of fun browsing through the pages and spotting all of the details in the maps of their favourite Disney characters.
Equally, it is a really lovely book for adult Disney fans to add to their Disney merchandise collection. I love Disney myself and really enjoyed this book, as well as the children.
