Zoggs at the Coral Reef

Coral Reef Waterworld in Bracknell has recently been refurbished with new water slides, so when we were invited along by Zoggs for an evening of swimming fun, we were really excited to check it out. Coral Reef, run by Everyone Active, has plenty to offer for all ages and was a great venue for us to put our new Zoggs swimwear to the test!

The boys were kitted out with swimming trunks and goggles from Zogg’s new DC Superheroes range, which includes Batman, Super-Man and Aquaman, along with Wonder Woman. There are a mix of jammers, and baggier swimming shorts.

We particularly loved the holographic goggles. These look really cool when paired with the matching jammers, and mean that we don’t get any complaints about eyes stinging from Chlorine after the swimming session, particularly as the boys are very keen on swimming under water to do forward rolls or make little under water videos on our GoPro!

The DC Superheroes range also has swimwear for the grownups so their Dad was able to get a Batman pair of swimming shorts for himself too.

As for me, I was really impressed that the Zoggs swimwear range is inclusive and does include modesty swimming costumes. As a Muslim who wears hijab, I’m not able to wear conventional swimming costumes, so these modest swimming costumes like the one I got from Zoggs have been absolutely brilliant in allowing me to get in the pool with my family and join in with the fun.

This is a two piece swimming costume, and it’s very comfortable to wear. N and I had lots of fun in the toddler area while the boys were busy on some of the bigger water slides, with the pirate ship and other little slides, lots of tipping buckets, water sprays and a water dam area to explore there is plenty for the little ones at Coral Reef, and I was very impressed with the warm water temperature too.

As we planned to stay in the water for quite a while and make the most of our swimming session, I put N (just under 2 years old) in this baby wrap from Zoggs (over the top of her swimming costume) to help keep her warm and comfortable. She happily stayed in the pool for nearly 2 hours so I’d say it was pretty effective!

Her costume underneath was really pretty too – she loved it! All of the Zoggs products are brilliant quality, which will definitely last.

We all really enjoyed our time at the Coral Reef and I am sure that will take the kids again, as it’s great family fun for all ages and is a fantastic pool. If you’re fairly local and have not yet visited, you won’t regret trying it out.

The boys were very impressed with the new slides, which have cool light effects and some of which can be ridden in a dinghy.

Here’s T’s video of one of the slides – the Aqua Splash…
