Whether your kids have seen the Minions movie or are still waiting to watch it, chances are you can’t have escaped the Minion Madness that has been going around these days. All three of my boys are loving Kevin, Stuart, Bob and their friends and are quickly drawn to all things Minion related!

We saw Minions in the cinema recently (read our full review here), and here are some fun ideas to keep the Minons theme going at home once you’ve seen the movie, or to get the kids excited before they go.

Minions Snacks

There are so many cute minion snack ideas around. You could try these Minion pretzels which are quick and easy to make, or if you want to grab something from the shops my boys have been enjoying the minions themed frubes which are ideal to eat on the go – on days out, picnics, cinema trips or in lunch boxes.  With these limited edition packs you also get Minion vision goggles which you can use to win prizes! Find out more here.

Look out for the special edition Banana flavour  – because of course, bananas are Minions favourite!

You could also use the Minions frubes to mix into a minion themed smoothie or milkshake, like this one from Mum in the Mad House

Minions Crafts

My boys have been busy this week with a bit of Minions junk modelling, as we turned an old cardboard box and some old jeans into our very own life sized minion! I’ll be sharing all the steps for this soon.

You could also try these Minions themed pom pom shooters, which are simple to make and provide lots of fun afterwards. Send the kids out into the garden with them to give them more space to run around and minimise pom poms all over the house!

  1. We’re huge minion fans in this house, and went to see the film last week. Some great ideas to keep them amused in the summer holidays here, thanks! 🙂
