Christmas star sandwiches for Bento lunches

Equipment needed: one large and one small star cutter.

White Bread

Primula Cheese of choice

Chives – finely chopped

Red Chillies – finely chopped

Cucumber, cut into ribbons

For each sandwich lightly toast two slices of bread. Spread Primula cheese on one slice and sprinkle with finely chopped chives or chillies. Cut a large star out of the second piece of toast and then a small star out of the centre. Place this prepared star on top of the first slice of prepared toast and recut with the large star cutter to make a star sandwich.

The method for the cucumber one is exactly the same except:

Spread one slice of toast with Primula cheese of choice and overlap with cucumber ribbons. Proceed as above to cut out the star sandwich.
