Decorate Your Floater However You Like

The printable template gives you the basic person shape, but kids can really make this craft their own. They can draw swimsuits, bikinis, shorts, sunglasses, or even funny accessories onto their swimmer.

The floaty can also be decorated with stripes, polka dots, rainbow colors, or any other fun summer designs they can imagine. My daughter loves her pool floaty that’s designed like a watermelon.

This makes the activity especially good for encouraging creativity and self-expression while still being easy enough for preschoolers and elementary age kids to enjoy.

Summer crafts are always a hit because they remind kids of sunny days, swimming pools, vacations, and outdoor fun.

This cheerful paper plate craft fits perfectly into summer learning themes, beach week activities, or transportation and water play units.

You could even combine it with a sink and float experiment.

Craft activities like this also help children practice fine motor skills through cutting, painting, coloring, and gluing.

Decorating the swimmer and floaty encourages imaginative thinking and gives kids a chance to make creative choices.
