Instructions
- Cut out the template, then trace the mirror shape onto the paper plate and cut it out.
- Paint the paper plate mirror red (or color of your choice) and leave it to dry.
- Attach the mirror piece and handle together with glue.
- Finally, glue on the colored paper design pieces to decorate the frame and handle.
- Optional - You can add silver foil for the reflective surface of the mirror, or use the empty white space for kids to draw a self portrait.
Leave the glue to dry fully before children use their finished mirror for pretend play.
Add a Self-Portrait
For an All About Me activity, invite children to draw themselves in the center of the mirror. They could include their hair color, eye color, favorite outfit, or even write a few words about what makes them special.
