We love using Osmo products with our iPad. It turns the whole process into a much more interactive experience. No more passively sitting and watching – with Osmo, iPad time becomes a hands-on immersive activity.
We have quite a few of the Osmo games already in our collection, and recently we were sent the Osmo Super Studio Disney Mickey Mouse & Friends. Immediately, it was a huge hit with my 4 year old daughter.
The Super Studio games from Osmo are all about drawing. Osmo Super Studio Disney Mickey Mouse & Friends takes you through animated stories with Mickey Mouse and his famous friends Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto and invite your child to draw along every step of the way.
The items that your child draws on their Osmo drawing tablet will automatically be inserted into the story, and shown in an interactive display. My daughter had so much fun drawing ice creams and balloons for Mickey Mouse and his friends.
This interactive game encourages and builds skills in the important areas of listening, drawing, observation, improve speed of drawing, creative problem solving.
Following along with the game really helps to build up hand-eye coordination & drawing confidence, which is ideal for my little girl as she starts school.

The game interface is so user friendly, and really guides you with what to press next, and how to follow along so my daughter was able to do it somewhat independently. Older children will definitely manage this fully independently.
The recommended age for the Super Studios games is 5-11 years, but slightly younger children like N will also enjoy it if parents are around to help out where needed.
The game is pretty versatile – an older child can take their time drawing more detailed items for each of the prompt whereas younger kids can draw each one in a basic way, and both ends of the age group will still get a lot out of the experience.
Games are designed for beginner to expert levels. Osmo enables the continuation of learning. Real-time audio and visual feedback lets children learn through experimentation in a stress-free environment.
The markers and wiper that you need are all included in the box so you can get started as soon as you open it up. N loved the independence of being able to wipe away her drawings and play a certain page again and again when she found one that she loved.
When you tap the next activity in the game, Mickey will tell you which page to turn to in your drawing pad so that kids can easily follow along.

Compatible iPads: All iPads except Generation 1, 2, 3. iPad Reflector 2021 required for the: iPad Air 4, iPad Pro 11-inch & iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The minimum iOS version needed is iOS 10.
Compatible Fire Tablets: 8th Gen Fire HD 8, 9th Gen Fire 7, and 9th Gen Fire HD 10. Currently not compatible with the Fire HD 8 10th Gen (2020), Fire HD 10 11th (2021).
