Lloyds Bank have invited bloggers to think about some our best “moments that mattered” in 2013. I decided to go with one theme for mine and have chosen 10 pictures from our camping holiday in the summer. This was our first proper family holiday! We’ve taken the kids for nights away here and there but mainly because we were going to people’s weddings so that doesn’t really count! We went to Wales and stayed in a camping wigwam. If you have been following the blog for a while, you probably remember me telling you all about it at the time! If not, you can see a couple of posts here, here and here
Lloyds‘ team kindly made my 10 photos into a lovely photo collage for me. I think it looks great!
You can see where we stayed, the boys happily playing, busy building dens and exploring. Me and their Dad are in there too somewhere so you may be able to spot us.
As the boys hadn’t been on holiday before, they were so excited when we put all their things in the car and told them we were going to stay somewhere new. I love that photo of their excited little faces in the back of the car, I don’t think I will ever forget that day – they really were crazily excited!
Our holiday was a great chance to relax and spend some time together as a family without the interruptions of daily life. I didn’t take any laptops, iPads etc with us because I wanted to be screen free and spend more time outdoors which was lots of fun. North Wales were we went is a really beautiful area.
Every year there are so many lovely moments to cherish with the kids, they always make me smile and are always making me laugh with their cheeky little faces or the funny things they say. I hope we make many more great memories of moments that matter this year in 2014, and I’m looking forward to see what this year holds for us!
Disclaimer: We were given vouchers as a thanks for taking part in this campaign. I’m also entering the post into the fab “Moments that Mattered” iPad prize draws that some lovely bloggers are holding!
