How to Make Your Own Paper Craft Party Glasses
Supplies:
- Free printable glasses template (download PDF below)
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Your choice of markers, crayons, felt tip pens, stickers, pom poms, glitter, sequins, and all kinds of embellishments.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Print and Cut: Begin by printing the eyeglasses pattern on sturdy cardstock paper. Let your kids express their creativity by coloring the glasses. Then, carefully cut out the glasses along the outer lines.
- Cut Lenses: Next, carefully cut out the marked areas for the lenses.
- Attach Arms: Fold the arms of the glasses at the dotted lines and apply either glue or tape to the tabs. Attach these arms to the main frame of the glasses.
- Wear Your Creation: Now, it’s time for the best part! Place the arms of the glasses over your ears and watch your child light up with joy.
- Enjoy: Your paper eyeglasses are now ready! Enjoy this creative accessory and take lots of pictures to remember the fun.
Variation: You can turn these glasses into rainbow vision glasses by adding a thin layer of colored tissue paper or cellophane over each eye hole, for added fun.
