  • Circle Template / any round object

Instructions

  1. Start by selecting a toilet paper roll for each house you plan to make. These rolls serve as the main structure of your fairy houses.
  2. Wrap the Rolls. Choose colored paper and cut it to size so it wraps around the toilet paper roll completely. Glue the paper onto each roll, making sure it’s smooth and there are no air bubbles.
  3. Using markers or paints, draw doors, windows, and any other features you like onto a piece of white paper. You can be as detailed or as simple as you like. This is a great opportunity for kids to express their creativity!
  4. Cut out the windows, doors and other features
  5. Glue them onto the colored tubes. Kids can get creative with this step, lay them out however you like best.
  6. Use a circle template to draw and cut out circles from different colored paper for the roofs.
  7. Decorate each circle with fun patterns using your black marker.
  8. Each circle should then be cut from one edge to the center, allowing you to fold them into a cone shape. Adjust the size of the cut to make sure the cone fits perfectly on top of your roll.
  9. Once you have the right size, glue the edges of the cone to hold the roof shape.
  10. Glue the cone-shaped roof on top of your decorated roll. Make sure it’s securely attached.
  11. Add any additional decorations you’d like, such as drawing a chimney, flowers, or even using fabric scraps for curtains in the windows.
