How to Use Color By Number Printables
Many of us will remember using a color by number coloring book from our childhood, but if not don’t worry I will walk you through real quick. It is so easy.
To complete these free printable christmas color number sheets, have the children look at the numbers next to each crayon at the top of the page.
Each number is labelled with a specific color, so next they will need to find the crayon of the corresponding color and complete the area of their Christmas theme picture in the correct color.
If your child is younger and can not read yet, then a handy tip is for you to colour in the crayon answer keys at the top so that they can check the numbers against the colors without needing to be able to read the color names.
For older kids this won’t be necessary but for little ones that tip is a game changer. It’s a great way to allow them to work independently finding the correct number and color, and achieve a great result.
