Book Shopping with Books2Door

We can never have enough books in our house, with four kids who are all keen readers (as well as us parents!) One site I’ve been ordering from lately is Books2Door who have some great collections for the children. I find the website simple to navigate and it’s easy to find products that will suit our family.

Here are some of the books we’ve chosen lately..

The Maze Runner Series

I selected this series for my eldest, an 11 year old boy, who has enjoyed the Hunger Games series. This type of dystopian Young Adult fiction is great for keen readers in their teens or approaching their teens, as it’s really gripping and keeps them engaged with reading. I love it when we find books like this, and there is a whole series to keep them busy reading it for longer!  The Maze Runner set contains 5 books. With Maze Runner, after reading the books there is also a series of movies based on the novels.

The Divergent Series

Like Maze Runner, this is great dystopian fiction for teens or children approaching that age. This set has four books within the series, and also has the full series of movies to watch after reading.

Paw Patrol Annual

At the other end of our children’s ages, we have our youngest age three who loves the Paw Patrol annual we got from Books2Door. Annuals can be great with a mixture of activities like colouring, dot to dot, spot the differences and also stories. They offer great value! This book has been a big hit with our little Paw Patrol fan.

The Day We Met The Queen

Books2Door have all the World Book Day books from this year. These are a selection of books for 99p each, or free with your World Book Day voucher which the children bring home from school. These little books are a great way to try out new authors, or to read a bit more from old favourites. The Day We Met the Queen is by Onjali R. Rauf, author of The Boy at the Back of the Class (another book my kids would recommend!)

Nought Forever

Nought Forever is another of the World Book Day books this year. This one by Gillian Cross, author of many brilliant books including the Noughts and Crosses series, which this book ties in with. This is a great taster for kids to see whether they fancy delving into the whole Noughts and Crosses series (which currently has a TV adaption available on BBC iPlayer too!)

Other book sets on Books2Door that my kids would recommend are..

  • The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan
  • Magnus Chase by Rick Riordan
  • Ultimate Football Heroes Collection
  • F2 Football Academies Books

…. and lots more to discover on the site.

We were sent a voucher in order to choose some of these books
