Paint samples are such a trendy commodity in the craft world right now! The stores generally have them free and as long as you do not clear the shelves, they are happy to let you take them!
Using a few differently colour paint samples, you can easily create this simple flower craft with kids.
These are great for Spring time, and you could adapt this idea to make cards too – these paint sample flowers would work perfectly for the front of a Mother’s Day card.
Materials
All you will need for this simple kids craft is:
- Paint Sample Color Cards
- Pipe Cleaners (Fuzzy Sticks)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Construction Paper
If you have left over pipe cleaners after finishing off your paint chip flower craft, why not try making this pipe cleaner flower craft too.
Paint Sample Flower Craft Instructions
Cut heart shapes out of the paint samples in various colors.
Fold the heart in half to give it a crease which will make the flower stand up off of the construction paper.
Glue the heart shapes into a circle on the construction paper.
Glue the pipe cleaner to the construction paper as a stem.
Use a second pipe cleaner to create the middle of the flower by rolling it up into a spiral.
Glue down on the middle of the flower.
Allow the flower craft to dry completely.
And you’re done! Make as many as your kids would like, all in different colours.
