How to Make the Yarn Robin – Step by Step

Here is how to make your simple yarn bird craft using the printable template.

Print and cut out the robin template from card. This gives you the bird body and two wing pieces.
Use a pencil to lightly mark the dotted guideline on the robin’s breast.
Thread a length of red yarn through your needle.
Starting at the top of the breast, wrap the yarn over the card, following the dotted line. Keep wrapping until the whole front section is covered.
When you finish, secure the end of the yarn at the back with tape or by tucking it under earlier wraps.
Add the two wings on top using glue, creating a lovely layered cute paper robin effect.
