Today I have some gorgeous lacing cards to share with you from tinyme. They are free to print out and make a great fine motor activity for kids to practice their lacing and sewing skills, while making some fun pictures.
You can download and print these lacing cards via the link at the end of this post.
The pack includes 8 different cards with beautifully illustrated designs. You will get:
- Sunshine
- Doughnut
- Watermelon
- Hot Air Balloon
- Lion
- Train
- Rocket
- Sailing Boat
Something to suit everyone! I think my personal favourite has to be the smiley sunshine.
Each lacing card is around A5 size – so you will print two cards to each sheet of A4 and then cut apart.
Then all you need is a needle and thread – grab any colours from your sewing box! Younger children will need supervision with this activity due to the use of the sharp needle.
Once they children are done, they could easily make the completed sewing pictures into lovely hand made cards too. I think they would look great!

I hope your children enjoy them. I still remember doing these type of cards as a child, and my boys enjoy doing them nowadays.
