Instructions

  1. Start by cutting a circle from a piece of thick black construction paper.
  2. Fold this circle in half to create the bat’s body.
  3. Next, use our free bat template to cut out bat wings from black construction paper.
  4. For the eyes, cut two small circles from black construction paper and two slightly larger circles from white paper.
  5. Layer the black circles on top of the white ones, and attach them to the front of the bat’s body. If you prefer, you can use googly eyes instead, which will give your bat a cute, playful look.
  6. Attach the wings on both sides of the folded semicircle body.
  7. Add any extra details you'd like! You could use white paint or a white crayon to draw small triangles for fangs, or add a fun touch of personality to your bat with different colors.
