For example:
3 × 4 = 12

12 ÷ 3 = 4
12 ÷ 4 = 3
Seeing these number relationships regularly can help children develop a much stronger understanding of how multiplication and division work, and how these inverse equations relate to each other.

Individual Multiplication Table Pages
The multiplication tables are also divided across separate printable pages. These printable charts are particularly useful when you want your child to concentrate on a smaller group of tables instead of looking at the complete set all at once.
You could begin with some of the easiest multiplication tables, such as the 1, 2, 5 and 10 times tables, before gradually introducing more challenging number facts.
Children can also look for patterns. For example, every answer in the 2 times table is an even number, while answers in the 5 times table always end in either 0 or 5. Spotting these patterns can make the facts easier to remember.
Division Tables from 1 to 12
The division charts cover division facts from 1 through to 12. Like the multiplication pages, the calculations are arranged into clear, colourful columns.
These are helpful for showing children that division is the inverse of multiplication. If they already know that 6 × 4 = 24, they can use that multiplication fact to understand that 24 ÷ 6 = 4.
Multiplication Square
The pack also includes a multiplication chart presented as a number grid. Children can follow one number across the top and another down the side to find the product where the row and column meet.
A multiplication square is one of the best ways to help visual learners explore number patterns. Children can see repeated answers, compare different multiplication table sequences and notice the relationship between numbers.
How to Use the Multiplication Charts
There are lots of simple ways to use these charts during maths practice. You can print the pages and place them in a folder, display them on the wall or keep them beside your child while they complete their work.
Laminating the pages is a good option if you plan to use them regularly. Children can then use a dry-erase marker to circle answers, highlight a particular times table or cover calculations and try to remember the missing numbers.
You could also cut the individual tables apart to create smaller reference strips. Place the table your child is currently learning on their desk, inside a maths workbook or somewhere they will see it frequently.
The charts can be used alongside bingo sheets, flashcards, multiplication games and other math worksheets. For a quick activity, call out a calculation and ask your child to find and point to the answer on the correct chart.
Helping Children Learn Their Times Tables
The best way to learn times tables is through short, regular practice rather than trying to memorise everything in one long session. Spending five or ten minutes on one table each day can help children build confidence without making the activity feel overwhelming.
Start with the easiest multiplication tables and help your child look for useful patterns. Practising facts in different ways also helps.
Children can say the tables aloud, write them down, answer quick questions, play online times tables games, use counters or find the facts on the multiplication chart.
It is also helpful to practise the calculations in a mixed order. A child may be able to recite the 4 times table from beginning to end but still struggle when asked 4 × 7 without the rest of the sequence. Mixing up the questions encourages genuine recall rather than relying only on rhythm and repetition.
