- 2 Cups flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- optional extras: orange zest, raisins, cinnamon
How to make the Pan de Campo
Preheat oven to 400F / 200C
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl
Mix in the wet ingredients. Knead lightly
Roll the dough into a circle about an inch thick
Bake in a well greased pan for 10-15 mins
Let the bread cool. Tear into chunks and enjoy with your favourite jams
