Lantern Crafts are one of the prettiest types of craft around if you ask me. From mason jars to paper lanterns, I’ve collected a few of my favourites here.
Any of these would work really well as a Ramadan craft activity for kids, some are perfect for Chinese New Year, and others will be ideal for decorating the garden during Summer.

Beautiful Lantern Crafts that Kids can Make

Make simple red lanterns using recycled toilet paper rolls or kitchen paper role cardboard tubes. Then paint and sprinkle with glitter - so easy and effective!
Learn the Arabic alphabet with this set of candles featuring all of the different letters from alif through to ya.
You can adapt this idea and have the candles spell out whatever messages you like using English alphabet letters too, for a personalised candle message.
