Five Quick Fire Holiday Facts
- For one in ten British ladies, eight weeks of holiday body prep and pampering is undone in just six days because of changes to normal eating and drinking routines when abroad.
- Half of ladies (54 percent) admit to eating unhealthy foods on holiday and a quarter experience tummy niggles and bloating, two of the major symptoms of digestive discomfort.
- 27 per cent of women will go on a diet before a holiday and 17 per cent have spent over £200 on clothing in preparation for a holiday.
- Over a quarter of ladies (27 per cent) say digestive discomfort caused by a change in diet hinders their holidays with 17 per cent admitting to covering up and avoiding the pool because of bloated tums.
- As a result of an upset stomach, the average person will spend two days of their holiday feeling ill… an unlucky 3 per cent spent over a week feeling unwell.
