How To Make A Heart Weaving Craft

Let’s jump right into crafting these woven beauties! The pictures will guide you step-by-step, so you’ll know exactly what to do. Make sure you’ve got all your supplies ready and a clean space to work on—and let the weaving magic begin!

  1. Start by picking two sheets of colorful paper. Place them on a flat surface and get ready to turn them into woven art
  2. Take the first sheet and fold it in half. Use scissors to cut it into a rectangle if needed
  3. Do the same with the second sheet. You should now have two folded rectangles With the folded edges facing you, cut strips into each rectangle, stopping about an inch from the top. These will be the strips for weaving
  4. Grab one folded rectangle and gently open it up to check your cuts. Do the same for the second one. Now, the weaving fun begins
  5. Start weaving by taking one strip from the yellow paper and passing it over and under the strips of the gray paper. Continue with alternating patterns
  6. Repeat the weaving process with all the strips until your heart is complete
  7. Once the weaving is done, trim off any uneven edges and shape it into a heart by rounding off the top corners
