This craft is most suitable for kindergarten-aged children and up. However, the exact age range can vary depending on the child’s proficiency with fine motor skills, specifically their ability to use scissors and handle small objects. Younger children might need more assistance, especially with cutting and folding tasks, while older kids may be able to handle the project independently.

For children younger than kindergarten age, for example kids starting preschool this craft can be adapted to their skill level. For instance, parents or caregivers can handle the cutting and assembling as needed, while the child can focus on coloring and decorating.

Remember, the primary goal is to have fun and stimulate creativity, all while learning and developing crucial motor skills. Whether done independently or with guidance, this craft is sure to bring joy and a sense of accomplishment.
