Materials

  • Yellow and Green Construction paper
  • Pink and purple Crepe paper or tissue paper
  • PVA Glue / White glue
  • White gel pen

Tools

  • Scissors
  • Printer for the template

Instructions

  1. Prepare all the craft materials before you start the activity
  2. Print and cut the template and trace it to the green construction paper.
  3. Once you’ve traced it, cut it
  4. Draw lines all over the cactus using the white gel pen. This is for its thorns
  5. Attach the cactus together then fold the upper part slightly to make a 3D.
  6. Make flowers of the cactus using crepe papers. Cut a square then crumple it and add it using glue.
  7. Attach the cactus to a yellow paper
  8. Add crumpled green crepe paper at the bottom of the yellow paper to make grass. Then add crepe paper flowers as well.
  9. You can add any other decorations you have in mind, like glitter, sequins or stickers to express creativity
