Decorating your own bat and ball is a really simple crafty activity for kids, and they can play with their new toy once they’re done. We used these Star Hero Colour-in Biff Bats from Baker Ross to make ours. Wouldn’t they be a perfect make and take home activity for a super hero themed party?
Decorating the bats couldn’t be any easier, you just choose your super hero and colour them in. We used felt tip pens to get a brighter effect. Pencil crayons also work fine, and I’m sure wax crayons would too but felt tips do show up the best.
The boys took about 10 minutes to carefully colour their whole super hero, so it’s a really quick and easy creative activity.
You can buy these bats in a set of 4 for £2.50, making each bat 63p each, or a set of 24 for £14.16 working out at 59p each so you can save a little if you need a larger quantity for a party activity.
My boys always love to make something that can be used afterwards, especially when it’s a toy. The bat and ball game is a classic. I remember playing it as a child, and it’s a fun way to build up coordination skills.
