Today, we're making an adorable and super simple craft that will bring a touch of nature into your home: a Toilet Paper Roll Tree. Yep, you read that right. With just a few supplies, you can turn a plain ol' toilet paper roll into a cute little tree complete with leaves and even a bird's nest!

Materials

Toilet paper rolls
Green and brown cardstock or construction paper
Craft glue
Safety scissors
Colored paper for the bird
Yellow shredded paper for the nest (or you can use yarn or paper scraps)
Markers or googly eyes for the bird
Optional: pom-poms, stickers, glitter for decoration

Instructions

Start with the base. Take a brown piece of cardstock and roll it around the toilet paper roll. Glue the paper to secure it. This will be the tree trunk.
