Summer is well and truly here. When you have little ones, what better way to keep them entertained and cool than heading for the water.
Bristol and the surrounding area boasts a decent selection of water activities but some are a little further afield and lesser known, so we have rounded them up for you in one handy list.
We all love a walk along the harbour, but on a hot day the kiddies want somewhere they can jump in and splash around.

- Hengrove adventure playground – this is a fantastic playground with lots of play equipment for all ages, sand play and also water play though a word of warning the water is not always turned on
- Water adventure play on Weston sea front – Weston is a great day out for the kids. Team this splash park with a ride on the big wheel, play on the beach and a visit to the grand pier

- Clevedon marine lake – this is great for serious swimmers and tots alike with the main lake and a shallow area for young ones
- Brean splash – outdoor splash opens 28th May 2022, indoor is open all year round

- Cotswolds water park – This outdoor water park based around a lake has swimming, boat rides, water inflatable courses for older ones, SUP and water sports, so many activities
