This 3rd Lockdown is hitting us differently. Without the warm weather of the summer, it can be hard to keep the kids entertained and pass the time. Stocking up on some new indoor activities definitely helps to bring some novelty and entertainment to your days, and with this snowy weather we’ve been having lately Frozen toys and games are an ideal solution to keep my 4 year old daughter occupied.

ToysandBears.com have a brilliant range of Frozen branded toys, and they sent one of the puzzles for us to test out at home.

The really cool thing with this puzzle from Toys and Bears Online is that it is double faced, so one side is a regular puzzle and the other has a blank picture for your child to colour in and make a customised puzzle.

The floor puzzle we tried is maxi size with nice big pieces, easy for young kids to handle and it has 35 pieces which is a good level of challenge for age four years old – making them think but without being too frustrating. The picture is a bright colourful scene from the original Frozen movie, featuring all of the main characters – Olaf, Anna, Elsa, Sven and Kristoff.

N had lots of fun putting this puzzle together, and it’s a great way to keep her entertained indoors on these cold snowy days.

After completing the puzzle, we turned it over the decorate the other side.

As you can see, you get a blank puzzle picture with Olaf and it took N quite a while to get it all coloured in how she would like it. So this is a great activity to spend some time together.

Here is her finished coloured puzzle, so now we have two new Frozen puzzles inside the same box, to keep her busy next time.

  1. What a fantastic initiative! The Big Little Tent Festival sounds like a delightful way to bring camping adventures home during these challenging times. The activity pack and Zoom party with The Mermaid Princess and The Friendly Neighbourhood Hero add to the excitement. Can’t wait to participate!
