Summer Infant POP n Jump Review

The POP n Jump from Summer Infant has been one of our favourite Summer must haves this year! It’s been brilliant on all of the hot days we’ve been having, and I’m looking forward to taking it away on holiday with us too.

The POP n Jump is a baby activity station, which is super portable as it folds up quickly and easily, and is really lightweight. It also has a UV canopy making it really handy for outdoor use during very sunny weather.

The POP n Jump is suitable from around 6 months, and holds your baby in a standing position where they can jump, and play with the toys that are all around. Baby N really enjoys being in here especially out in the garden, as it’s a good vantage point for her to watch her brothers running around and playing, and she can easily reach the toys to play or chew on them so she has plenty to keep her occupied.

The toys attached to the POP n Jump include a sensory fabric book with mirror and short story, a ball to spin, and two teething rings (one rattles) which stack onto the tree stump. The whole area is colourful with lots of pictures to look at too, to keep baby entertained.

I found the POP n Jump extremely easy to put up, it just folds out and clicks into place within seconds, which is brilliant when you’re juggling multiple kids. I was so happy that it comes ready assembled, to make my life easier. If you want to attach the UV shade, then it just poppers into place easily too.

Once you’re finished, you need to unlatch the metal clips at the sides and it just folds back down. The first time I did it, I got slightly stuck with it but once you know what you’re doing it’s extremely easy and quick. There’s a latch on the metal bit that you need to unlatch before folding back up, and then you’re good to go. It’s easy to get it back into the bag too.

It’s such a useful and practical multi-purpose item as you could use it indoors in the house too, particularly if you’re short on space and don’t want to commit to a Jumperoo in the living room at all times! When outdoors it’s a really handy space to be able to keep a baby safe and contained, and entertained. This is especially useful if there are older kids playing very boisterously nearby, like having football tournaments as my boys do!

Also as you can see in some of the pictures, our garden was pre-make over here (It’s in progress at the moment and almost completed) not all of the areas were safe for Baby N to explore. As she’s trying to crawl at the moment, she can get into areas she’s not supposed to go, and will only get faster as time goes on! So having somewhere safe and secure is good for peace of mind. The same can be said on holiday, as you don’t always know how baby proof the accommodation will be – so having the POP n Jump with us to pop her in while I go to the bathroom or sit and have a cup of tea, can really come in handy.

For more details on the POP n Jump visit the Summer Infant website, where it’s available for 69.99. I would say it is definitely worth it, considering how much use you can get out of it.
