Autumn is well and truly here, with leaves on the ground and a definite chill in the air! I’ve started to notice that I need a warm cardigan or coat each day on the school run, especially as we always walk there and back and I have two different places to drop Mr Z & Mr T so I can be out in the cold for quite a while!
I was really sent a shawl collar cardigan from Damart to review, and this is probably the warmest cardigan I have. It’s very cosy! The cardigan is a chunky cable knit with a touch of mohair, and it a good length coming down to below the bum which I prefer as I don’t like to wear short cardigans. I like the shawl collar style of the cardigan.
You can see the detail of the knit here, and the large metal coloured buttons, and pocket on each side:
The fit from Damart is true to size or generous, and the cardigan is comfy and well made. It can be styled for different looks but has a casual and cosy feel to it. It’s a great and handy cardigan for the Autumn as the colour will go with most things! It is “cream marl” colour which is quite close to grey.
Damart is not really a shop I was familiar with before, but I have had a look at the site and cut out a couple of things to make an outfit with the cardigan. I used to love to do this with real catalogues when I was little – hours of fun!! 😉 lol.

That does look very snug, I need something like that for my school run in the mornings.
