I always enjoy doing puzzles, whether with the kids or doing more advanced ones by myself. Ravensburger puzzles are usually our favourite! And recently, we were sent the A Day At The Beach 500 Piece Puzzle for review.

This puzzle has a colourful scene of a sandy beach, and families enjoying their day out at a traditional seaside.

500 pieces is a good size to do together with older children, or as a family. I did a lot of the puzzle, but with some help from the kids. They particularly enjoyed the flags section, and there’s lots of fun details to pick out once the picture is finished.

We completed the puzzle over two or three days, keeping it out on our dining table so we could go back to it when we had a few minutes spare. I really enjoy having a puzzle on the go like that, as I find that few minutes of puzzling here and there very relaxing.

500 piece puzzles like this are also really good to do as an adult puzzler if you don’t have the time to commit to a 1000 piece one. With a young baby, I have less free time at the moment so a 500 piece puzzle like this is the perfect size.

As with all Ravensburger puzzles, the pieces are strong and go together well without any ripping or bending, and have a good quality feel.
