Patriotic Wreath Craft for Kids

By In The Playroom

This patriotic wreath is such a fun and easy craft for kids to make for summer, July 4th, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or any patriotic theme at home or in the classroom. It uses simple construction paper stars in red, white, and blue, with curled paper strips and a sweet paper ribbon at the top to give it that finished wreath look.

I love this kind of patriotic wreath DIY because it feels bright and cheerful without needing any fancy supplies. You do not need a 24 inch patriotic wreath, a patriotic wreath from Hobby Lobby, or a patriotic wreath Dollar Tree project to make cute decor with kids.

This one is made from a simple paper plate, but it still gives that same patriotic door wreath feeling in a child-friendly way.

A patriotic wreath meaning is often tied to pride, remembrance, celebration, and welcome. For kids, this craft is a fun way to talk about the colors of the flag, summer holidays, and why we decorate our home for special days. It also makes a sweet classroom display, bulletin board craft, or simple patriotic decor to hang on a door, wall, or window.
