How to Make a Moving Car Craft

Not only will they love making it, but they’ll be thrilled to see their very own paper car zoom along its track. Get ready to turn an ordinary day into a playful and imaginative journey with just a few simple materials!
Materials
- Glue
- Construction paper
- Marker
- Scissors
- Single hole puncher
- Yarn
- Double-sided tape
Tools
- Free Printable Template
Instructions
- Assemble the Car: Print and cut the template for the car,
then assemble it using glue and construction paper.
This step is fun and allows your child to start seeing their creation come to life. 
- Create the Race Track: Prepare a black construction paper as your base. Take a piece of white paper, about one-third the size of the black paper,
and use a marker to create a black and white checkered design. This will serve as the track for your moving car. 
- Add the Road Markings: Cut a strip of yellow paper
and attach it to the center of your black construction paper. This will be your road’s centerline.
Then, cut strips of white paper and place them on both sides of the black paper to complete the road design. - Prepare for Movement: Punch a hole on both ends of the yellow strip
Use the center line as a guide to keep them lined ujp nicely
- Insert a piece of yarn through these holes. This will allow your car to move along the road.
The yarn needs to able to move, so allow plenty of extra length on the back, and do not fix it in one place 
- Make the Car Move: Attach your assembled car to the yarn using a thin piece of double sided tape.
Now, when you pull the yarn, the car will move along the road!
