If your little ones are fans of the Disney Jr show The Lion Guard, make sure to join us over on Twitter on this Wednesday, 6th July from 1-3pm to take part in the #LionGuardToys twitter party with @UKMumsTV. We’ll be hosting along with a few other parent bloggers, and there will be lots of fun Lion Guard themed games, chat and the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

We were sent a box of Lion Guard toys ahead of the party, to get an idea of the new toy range and I’m really impressed with the look of them. My boys will definitely be impressed with these once they get the chance to play with them at the party on Wednesday!

The new range is available from Flair toys and includes large play sets like the Defend the Pride Lands one that you can see in the middle, above, and there are also plenty of smaller figure sets available, and character blind bags too.

If you’re not familiar with the Lion Guard, it’s a new show that tells the story of Kion, Simba and Nala’s son. I’m really pleased that my kids enjoy watching it, as Lion King was one of my favourite Disney movies as a child and it’s so nice to see it being carried on with this younger generation. My boys really love the feature length Lion Guard: Return of the Roar which launched the new series, and it has some great songs in it too just like the original Lion King movie!

If your family hasn’t seen the Lion Guard yet, I would definitely check it out, and if you have, then your kids would surely love these new Lion Guard toys too.

I hope to see lots of you on Twitter on Wednesday – just follow the #LionGuardToys hashtag from 1pm. I’ll post again afterwards to share photos, fun and games from our Party.
