Materials

  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Black Marker
  • Crayons

Instructions

  1. Start with the Santa Hat: Begin by drawing the iconic Santa hat with fluffy edges. Add a small gap at the top to create a rounded finish, then fill in the hat’s outline.
  2. Outline the Grinch’s Face: Use sharp lines for the sides of the face and a rounded, slightly pointy chin to capture his distinctive look.
  3. Add the Details: Draw mean-looking eyebrows, then follow with the eyes, lines under the eyes, and the nose. Add a vertical line below the nose and sketch a wide, thin smirk to complete the expression.
  4. Draw the Santa Outfit: Add a fluffy collar, a narrow body shape, and a belt. Draw two skinny legs ending in boots and finish the body with rounded edges, a curved line at the bottom.
  5. Complete the Pose: Add two skinny arms positioned sassily with hands on hips to give the Grinch his trademark attitude.
  6. Color the Drawing: Bring your Grinch to life with vibrant colors! We used pencil crayons, but feel free to use markers, paints, or whatever you have at hand. Color the Grinch green, the Santa outfit red, and the boots black. For an extra touch of magic, use different shades and darker colors for shading and highlights.
