Santa Handprint Paper Craft

A quick and cheerful Christmas craft where your child’s own handprint transforms into a jolly Santa! Perfect for preschoolers and little kids, this easy paper craft captures the magic of the season with just a few simple supplies.

Materials

  • Construction paper in red, white and pink or brown for the skin
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Tools

  • Printable template if needed

Instructions

  1. Make a handprint in white paper and cut it. Do this by drawing around your child's hand, or they can do themselves if confident.
  2. Cut an arc shape from a pink paper (or brown if preferred) just enough the size of the handprint
  3. Attach the face to the handprint base.
  4. Cut the template for the hat (or draw freehand) and assemble it
  5. Attach the hat to the top of the handprint.
  6. Cut a small circle from a red paper to be the nose then attach it to the handprint.
  7. Also attach the white mustache shape below the nose.
  8. Cut two small circles from a white paper, and shade the inner part using a marker to make the eyes for Santa
  9. then attach it to the handprint.
