Gather 'round, craft lovers! It's time to sprinkle some holiday magic with a playful Grinch-themed paper plate craft.
Perfect for kids of all ages, this craft transforms simple materials like paper plates, green paint, construction paper, and a popsicle stick into a mischievous, moving Grinch!
As you paint, cut, and glue, you’ll not only craft a whimsical Grinch complete with his trademark smirk and red hat but also create giggles and memories.

Materials
- Paper plate
- Green paint (acrylic or tempera paint are both fine - whichever you prefer)
- Paint brush
- Scissors
- Glue
- Construction paper
- Red felt paper

- Printer for the template (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by painting one paper plate green. While it's drying, talk about the Grinch's transformation from grumpy to gleeful - just like our craft will transform from simple supplies to a magical creation!
- Take the second plate, cut a segment out
and give it a coat of green too. This will be added to the front of the craft 
- Now, prepare to cut out the Grinch's features using the templates provided. Think pointy fingers and that classic Grinch smirk!
- Trace the templates to the corresponding colors of construction paper and cut out
- With a pen, add those necessary details to bring his face to life
- Glue the santa hat on top of the grinch
- Then attach it to a popsicle stick – this will be your magic wand to make the Grinch move!
- Prepare some festive decorations for the top of your craft - maybe some holly or baubles. Let your little ones get creative here! We used green construction paper to make a garland
- Cut the gardland shape from the dark green construction paper
- Cut some bauble shapes
- And assemble it together
- Glue this to the top of the full green paper plate which should now be dry
- Don't forget to add the Grinch's signature red hat at the back of the scene.
- Place the cut and painted paper plate above the hat to frame that grinning face.
Glue it down, leaving a small gap for the grinch's popscicle stick to fit through 
- The grand finale: insert your Grinch on the stick, and let him wiggle and jiggle to your heart's content!
