Sun-Pat peanut butter have just launched their Fuel Your Dreams campaign with Olympic gold medal winning swimmer Adam Peaty and TV presenter Helen Skelton, which is all about ensuring that people have the energy to follow their dreams.

New Sun-Pat Peanut Butter research into childhood dreams reveals that we’re a nation of achievers; 15.6M Brits have pursued their dreams in life, and notably it’s those with an active childhood who were much more likely to achieve – which makes a lot of sense.

Some of the most popular dreams among young people are sports related with becoming a footballer being the number 1 goal, so no wonder an active life style and plenty of energy are required!

Sun-Pat peanut butter, smooth and crunchy

My own dream would be to travel to as many places around the world, to see and experience as many sights and cultures as I can possibly fit in! A couple of my top destinations would be Malaysia, Australia, Japan and the Caribbean. My kids are also dreaming of visiting Japan, especially since they have a love of lots of Japanese characters like Pokemon.

Another dream of my eldest (Z aged 8) is to become an athlete, particularly to excel in 100m running, and of course for this he’ll need plenty of energy!

We’re big peanut butter lovers in our house (smooth for the kids, crunchy for me!) It’s a great way to get a tasty and convenient energy boost, since it’s packed with protein. I quite often enjoy a couple of slices of peanut butter on toast for lunch to give me the energy to get through a busy afternoon. It also makes a quick and easy nutritious snack if you combine peanut butter and apple slices, or even use it as a dip for some bread sticks.
