Your child’s foundational years are most important, as they can also be considered the base year. The base and root are very important, whether a human’s or a tree’s.

Our blog will guide the readers and tell the parents how to nurture their child’s foundational years. You must also focus on their various stages of life and keep track of their growth.

1. Learning centres

Learning centers are very important, so you can take your child to one nearby and get him/her enrolled.

Early learning centre help in nurturing the child, and the child learns a lot of things as well. Your child will meet more people of his/her age and slowly start getting the idea of what is right and wrong.

2. Language

Your child’s first companion is going to be you. So, you have to keep your language proper. If you use slang, your child might also get a habit of it.

Children look up to their parents a lot, and they try to copy their parent’s habits as well. So, make sure not to use slang anytime your children are near you.

3. Encourage

Apart from slang, you must not always discourage your children. Rather, you should try encouraging whenever you get time.

Stop labeling your children as ‘naughty’ or ‘worthless’. These words get into their minds, and children misunderstand them.

You should always be proud of them and try to encourage them whenever you can.

4. Notice the small things

Many parents fail to notice the small things that their children are doing. Little things or artworks being done by children shouldn’t go unnoticed.

They should be noticed and praised as well. Your children will feel more confident by that. Parent’s encouragement is something that children always crave.

Furthermore, if your children see that you are noticing the little things, they will feel encouraged and will always try to do better.

5. Spend time

This is one of the most important things: you should always take time for your children. Parents who don’t spend time with their children often regret not doing so.

Also, it affects the child negatively if you don’t spend enough time with your children. Furthermore, you can form a foundation base with your children.

6. Give them space

May it be a child or adult, every person deserves their own space. Children at a young age discover independence and love having their own space.

So, as a parent, try not to invade your child’s personal space. That doesn’t mean you will not keep a note of their doings. You must observe and know what they are doing but stay distant.

7. Don’t be judgemental

Parents need to understand their children and be a little less judgemental. This way, your child will learn to be judgemental, and they will become one as well.

Stop being judgemental around them. Children happen to take up their parent’s habits a lot.

8. Take care of your boy’s emotional side

Some parents fail to pay heed to the emotional side of their boys. People always say that boys can’t cry or boys shouldn’t get emotional.

This should be avoided at all costs. As a parent, you should know if your boy is emotional. Just not that. Make sure to give him confidence and give him space for his vulnerability as well.

9. Focus on their communication abilities

Communication abilities should be treated as important these days. Children are becoming introverted, and most of them are losing their basic communication skills.

This is affecting their everyday life and is affecting their friendship as well. To improve, you can call your children’s friends at home and observe them talking to them.

Take your kid outside often and make him meet and know his neighbors. This way, he will be able to improve his communication skills.

10. Let them take their challenges

Don’t be sensitive with your child or stop him from facing the outside environment. Your child needs to grow, and that will be possible only if he takes the challenges the outside environment offers him.

Encourage your children to take up new challenges, and ensure you allow them to face reasonable risk. This way, he will grow strong mentally as well as physically.
