Each Christmas, I love to include a few books for the kids under the tree and Books2Door is one of the best places to find bargains, especially for box set book series and activity books, which are some of my kids favorites.

A book advent calendar is another brilliant festive tradition, and again Books2Door come through with that, so let’s take a look at the great selection of books available at Books2Door this festive season.

These book advent calendars are brilliant value, coming in at less than one pound per book and a fantastic way to get the children extra excited about reading during the holiday season.

I also love the book Christmas Eve boxes from Books2Door which are packed full of books to read and activity books to enjoy.

Whichever books you’re going for this Christmas, make sure you get your Books2Door order in by this Friday 16th Dec as that’s their last posting date to guarantee arrival by Christmas and you wouldn’t wasn’t to miss out!

Here are some of the brilliant books we’ve been enjoying from Books2Door this Christmas.

The Christmas elf’s magical bookshelf advent calendar comes with 24 books – a mixture of Christmas ones and non Christmas themed ones, so you can enjoy some of them all year round.

My 5 year old little girl N has been enjoying these stories so much throughout the month of December, especially Norman the Slug who saved Christmas, and Dogs Don’t do Ballet.

We also really love this box set of 10 Books, stories for Christmas. This set has a great mix of traditional tales like the Snow Queen snd the Nutcracker and a variety of fun stories about winter animals which are really sweet with beautiful illustrations.

I also got some educational workbooks, because if you can get in some extra learning while making it fun, then I’m always going to go for it! The number blocks Christmas workbook is packed with stickers and lots of maths learning, and the pack of Biff, Chip and Kipper activity books ties in perfectly with the reading scheme my daughter uses at her school.

Like I mentioned, Books2Door is the best place to find box set book series and I found a pack of My Little Pony chapter books that N is going to love since it includes all her favourite characters, and there’s a wide selection of gripping books for older kids and young adult, where my 11 year old bookworm chose this Knights of the Borrowed Dark series.

A good book is one of the best Christmas presents to engage the imagination and whisk you away to a whole new world, and even better if it’s a whole series so the excitement will last even longer.

I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for this Christmas at Books2Door!
