Rocking Carrot Craft

This adorable rocking carrot craft is a fun and easy way for kids to celebrate Easter, learn about healthy eating, or enjoy a garden-themed activity. Made with simple construction paper, it gently rocks back and forth, making it extra engaging for little hands.

Perfect for preschoolers, toddlers, and kindergarteners, this craft is both cute and educational!

Materials

  • Construction paper (orange and green)
  • Glue
  • Black marker
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Cut a circle from an orange piece of construction paper then fold it in half. This folded shape will be the base of your craft and allow it to rock back and forth.
  2. Cut a rectangle from green paper, fold it in half,
  3. and then cut strips on one side to create the carrot tops. Be careful not to cut all the way through! Glue it to the back of the orange folded paper.
  4. Take the green and orange sections and attach them together
  5. Cut two small circles from white paper to create the eyes Attach them to the carrot to give it a cute face.
  6. then color in the inner part with a black marker.
  7. Use the marker to draw lines on the carrot to create its natural texture, just like a real one!
  8. Let all the glue dry, then set it up and give it a gentle push - it rocks back and forth, making it extra fun for little ones!
