Bing is helping families who will be spending more time together at home in the coming weeks. My preschooler is a big fan of Bing, so these have come in handy for us and I hope you find them useful too!

Bing Watch, Play, Learn App
This app is great when you want something fun and educational to entertain your little ones. I have been trying it out with my 3 year old, N, and we loved the variety of content – having multiple games, including colouring activities, memory match, dress up games and more, alongside the video content means that there is plenty included to keep it fresh. I also appreciate that there are no adverts, and the app is very easy to use
Sometimes while her older brothers are all doing online schooling on their laptops, my youngest wants to feel like she can join in too so playing a few educational games like these during that time is really nice for her.

This means you can download it on a tablet, or a tablet laptop hybrid like the Specture X360. Of course, you may be a bit wary about letting your toddler loose with your own laptop or laptop-tablet hybrid. After all their motor skills aren’t always fully developed. However, you can rest safe in the knowledge that even if the worst were to happen (they dropped it and cracked the screen) there are providers that specilaise in replacing laptop screens quickly, easily, and cost-effectively.
The app is recommended for children from age 2+ and you can try the free version or upgrade to unlock full content (there are monthly or annual subscription options for the full version)

The very best of Bing’s stories and adventures can be experienced in the Bing eBooks and Bing’s Splashy Story Audio Book, narrated by BAFTA-nominated actor Anne-Marie Duff (His Dark Materials, Watership Down).
Sula’s Magic Wand Craft
Bing is great for inspiring lots of simple and fun crafts with the kids, like when we made nature pictures inspired by the Bing Nature Explorer’s episode or when we carved a Bing pumpkin.
We’ve also made “rippy tissue pictures” and made rubbings, both inspired by Bing episodes.
Another great Bing craft you can make with the kids is Sula’s Sparkle Magic Wand, with these instructions below from the Bing website – one of just many ideas you can find there.
