Have you seen the Vision Direct ‘A Pug’s Christmas’ advert? It’s been really popular with over 500,000 views online and over 4,000 shares on Facebook. It shares the story of a cute little glasses wearing pug at Christmas, and shows how his owner, a sweet little boy, got him contact lenses in time for Christmas to help prevent him from getting into so many scrapes with his glasses all the time.
Since the Pug’s Christmas video has been such a success, Vision Direct decided to make a behind the scenes video to give us some more background on the character of Gizmo the pug, and let us get to know him a little more and have a few more laughs with this adorable pet.

The behind the scenes video shows off the Pug Gizmo as the real star of the show, and let’s him have his say about his thoughts on the famous advert, and working with Vision Direct. He tells us about his favourite things about working in show biz, including all of his unique costumes that he tried on during wardrobe day, and even tells some jokes! He’s definitely a cute character. As a glasses wearer myself, I did sympathise with him in the original advert with all of the trouble he gets into, breaking his glasses often. He is a really loveable little character.
