Having fun with your children can allow you to create some wonderful memories together, as well as strengthen your attachment to one another.
With the summer now well and truly behind us, you may feel like you can’t spend as much time outdoors.
However, the changing of the seasons can bring lots of different colours to the world, and you may want to still get in a few more fun picnics before it is too cold to do so.

A pair of sunglasses
While it may not be as warm outside as it was a month ago, the sun may still play its part in your day.
You may want to plan your picnic ahead of time, so that you can keep an eye on the weather forecast and choose the nicest day possible.
In doing so, it could actually still be rather sunny when you go. The light may not be as strong, but the UV rays could still cause damage to your eyes.
To protect them, you may want to check out these Ray-Ban sunglasses, and take a set out with you.
Having some for your children may also be beneficial. This way, none of you will need to squint, and you can enjoy the nicer weather.
Baby wipes

You may have a number of different types of food you want to take on your picnic.
Although sharing a meal together outside can be a great activity, you may want to go somewhere where there aren’t facilities to stay clean.
Packing some baby wipes can be a great alternative, especially if they are biodegradable. This way, you can clean mess off of hands and faces, as well as any spills on your picnic blanket.
Should your children wish to play in leaves or dirt, or explore some of the nature in the area, the wipes can again be used to sanitise their hands as much as possible.
Plan for problems
A number of issues may occur when you spend time outdoors. There may be a chance of rain, so it could be useful to pack an umbrella.

It may also be possible for your child to fall over while playing, or get bitten by an insect, so you might want to have a first aid kit in your hamper.
This could allow you to deal with some of the more minor issues that could occur.
Having your phone on you, fully charged, can allow you to call for help should it be needed.
Picking a location that has good signal may be necessary for better safety.
Going on an autumnal picnic with your children can involve a lot of planning ahead of time.
You may want to account for the food you take with you, including how to best store it.

On top of this, there might be a number of items you keep in your picnic hamper or handbag that can make the day out more enjoyable for you all.
