ADVENT GIVEAWAY DAY 8 : Wordsearch Junior Game from Drumond Park

WORDSEARCH JUNIOR – fabulous learning fun for little ones aged 4 and up!

Now Wordsearch Junior (rrp £18.99, age 4 upwards) brings Drumond Park’s unique and much loved Wordsearch ‘race’ game format to a new generation – of youngsters. It’s based on the same clever ‘turntable’ design of the original Classic Wordsearch! Game and children of all ages will have hours of fun playing – while getting to grips with recognition, pattern and language.

The nine double-sided circular puzzle disks have three different levels of play, covering a myriad of topics. Little ones can dive in straight away, searching for images and patterns on the starter-level blue picture pattern cards. The red level takes players through the picture hint cards – finding words with picture hints to help them. Using the green word-only cards, they’ll be looking for consonant clusters and vowel combinations – increasing their reading skills without even realising it!

  1. This will be the first year I will not be spending Christmas at home with my parent so we have a day of Christmas tv specials, films, board games and lots of yummy but not-so-good-for-you food planned! It will be very different but hopefully fun too!

  2. We’re going to be meeting the in-laws for lunch. My husband is working Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, so we can’t do too much.

  3. We will be opening stockings before breakfast, then main presents. We’re then all off to my mother’s for lunch and more presents 😉
My husband has to work (he’s a health care worker) and we’re really going to miss him 🙁

  4. We are having our 1st Christmas on our own this year – it will be lovely to just be our little family and not to have to go anywhere 🙂

  5. spending christmas day at home 🙂
we have family coming for dinner cooking for 7 adults and 6 kids its going to be a mad house but wouldnt have it any other way 🙂

  6. Christmas day we have nanny & grandad coming for Christmas dinner which will be wonderful 🙂 Followed by lots of present giving and a stroll across the meadows 🙂

  7. Christmas for us involves lots of visiting family around the country. They’ll come a time when we stay at home for Christmas Day when LO is older and we want Father Christmas to come down the chimney! Until then, we hit the road!

  8. don’t know for definite but usually go to mam’s on Boxing Day, may be having Xmas Day at daughters if she’s not working, if so just me and hubby at home

  9. Open pressies in the morning then round to visit the sis and nieces early afternoon before popping to see aunty uncle and cousins. Then evening tea of mixed buffet foods, hot and cold meats, cheeses etc and crappy tv 🙂

  10. My Dad is coming to pick me and my partner up from London when I finish work on Christmas Eve at 6pm and then driving us to their house for a week 😀 x

  11. I will be waking up with my two little girls to open all the presents off Santa and then my big brother, Mam and Nan will be joining us at mine for Christmas dinner. I can’t wait x

  12. We moved into our first owned home this year so we are staying at home with my in laws and we plan on having an amazing time 🙂 x

  13. Because my partner has 3 children and their mother has always insisted on Christmas day with her, we have Christmas on Christmas Eve. The youngest, who is now 17 will drive to her mum’s for Christmas Dinner, but on Christmas Eve we will have all 3, plus a partner and very recent Grandchild, and a dog that we’re acquired, as his owners no longer wanted him, and he spent most of his time with us anyway. so………..I’m predicting chaos!
