  • Craft sticks (the magic wands of the crafting world)
  • A rainbow of acrylic paints in the softest pastels
  • Tulle that’s as pretty as a ballet slipper – think pastel purple and pink
  • Metallic silver pen for that touch of sparkle
  • Silver pipe cleaners, because what’s a fairy without her shimmering wings?
  • Felt in sunny yellow and bold black
  • Glitter! Because, well, glitter makes everything better, right?
  • The usual suspects: white craft glue, paintbrushes, a hot glue gun, and scissors

Now, don’t worry about getting it perfect. The charm is in the handmade touch! You’ll be crafting up a storm, creating not just a fairy, but also memories to last a lifetime.

Paint those sticks, layer that tulle, and add a twinkle with glitter.

As you’re painting and gluing, why not share your favorite holiday stories or belt out some Christmas tunes?

What I absolutely adore about this craft is that it’s not just fun – it’s also a great way to sneak in some fine motor skill development.

And the best part? You get to personalize your fairy to represent the wonderful diversity of our world. Whether you’re painting your fairy with light brown skin or adding some black felt hair for an African American beauty, it’s all about celebrating the unique sparkle in each of us.

Once your fairy is all dressed up in her glittery best, she’s ready to pirouette onto your Christmas tree or dance across your mantelpiece.
